In January 1979, Mattel’s Intellivison ( “Intelligent Television”) was announced at the CES, and was soft launched in Fresno late that year. If you are a fan of retro games, especially in the era of the Intellivision, you should definitely support the Amico as it looks like a great console to relive the glory days of gaming. We do know that both consoles are definitely launching in 2020, so the retro console might have a hard time on store shelves. With Intellivision entering the console race, 2020 will be a tough time for the console as that is also the expected release date for Sony’s PS5, and Microsoft’s successor to the Xbox One.
